It's Friday night, which means the Blue Jays broke out their throw back baby blues....
Although I generally don't like this color uniform (unless the uniform says North Carolina on the front), I don't necessarily dislike these. My problem with these Toronto uniforms is that they were the road uni's, and they wear them at home.
By the way, Friday night means Boston breaks out the alternate hat. I also don't necessarily dislike this hat - I've definitely seen worse, but the traditionalist in me hates it.
I love those Blue Jay uni's. I think their uniform change from a few years ago ranks with the Denver Broncos and the Sixers as the worst in sports. There is nothing worse than when a team that has been around a long time, and has won championships, suddenly changes their colors. It's like you're changing who you are. The Jays were blue and were known for that Blue Jay head. Now suddenly they're... black, and feature one of the ugliest logos in sports - that J with the bird. Who could have thought this was a good idea?
