Sorry Spence, but these Padres uniforms are bad, especially when they're juxtaposed with a white uniform. They look dirty.
This is a much better road look. (Notice the 40th anniversary patch on the sleeve.)
And what's with the Mets Citi Field inaugural season patch? That's weak and unimaginative.

ReplyDeleteThe "sand" jerseys are much better than the plain navy blue with a boring Padres script. In fact, I have one.
I've seen you wear that (and will probably see it the next time you're in the newsroom), and it doesn't look bad with a pair of jeans.
ReplyDeleteThe problems I have with it: It looks bad with "sand" pants and it looks dirty next to a white uniform. It looks like the clubhouse manager forgot to add the All-Tempa Cheer.
That's a shameless plug and yes, I will be wearing it next time I'm in the newsroom.
